Musicals Come True: West End Live

London dons its Broadway garments, and both lovers of musicals and newbies to the genre will be able to enjoy the actors of the hottest London productions performing live on the streets!

West End classics like The Lion King, Les Miserables and Wicked will share the cobbles with new kids on the block like Kinky Boots, An American In Paris and Bat Out Of Hell.

The main “stage” will be Trafalgar Square, and lucky for you there is plenty of the ENTERTAINER venues around, which will make this artsy free weekend even more deliciously thrifty!

Salt & Pepper, in Panton Street (right behind the National Gallery) is one of the best Pakistani cuisine restaurants in Central. Focused on keeping their dishes mega healthy, with minimum fat and maximum flavour, their Mulligatawny soup is good enough to make you sing!

For the starry-eyed peeps, get yourself a Sparkling Afternoon Tea at Amba Hotel Charing Cross. The Hotel’s beautiful French Renaissance façade goes nicely with musicals such as The Phanton and Les Mis, and also is a banging combo of sandwiches, scones and delightful little cakes.

Complete your Mamma Mia! look with a visit to The Life Goddess! You’ll be yelling Gimme, Gimme, Gimme at the deli counter once you’ve gone through their menu! Make sure to take some of their Greek honey and olive oil.

And of course, don’t forget to check your ENTERTAINER app, because the encore is on us! Bravo!
