Singapore, Mon Amour

There’s plenty of reasons to visit the Lion City: the architecture, the shopping, the fact that it is a true crucible of different cultures, THE FOOD. To make things even better, Singapore is one of the 18 cities where the ENTERTAINER app operates, which takes the whole experience –hotel booking, family plans, dining out- to the next level.

We asked our colleagues from the Singapore office about their favourite places, and here we have teamed them up with a cheeky ENTERTAINER venue suggestion, so you can double up your travel experience!

Visit the Gardens by the Bay

The gardens have been the most successful step in the government’s effort to turn Singapore from a Garden City to a city in a garden. And certainly, the green spaces have increased the quality of life of all the inhabitants!

Get your share of this green lung, and make sure you visit Pollen Terrace, situated in the Flower Dome. Their food is a mix of European and Mediterranean influences, and from their venue you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Marina Bay skyline.

Marina Bay Sands

You may have seen some vertigo-inducing pics of the Marina Bay Sands infinity pool, located in SkyPark, a three-acre park on top of the MBS building that includes gardens and jogging paths too. This integrated resort doesn’t stop there when it comes to impressive sights, their fine dining options are just as inspiring.

For example, Punjabi Grill is a must-see. Their menu is inspired on the cuisine from the Punjab region, and everyday meals meet secret recipes fit for the royal kitchens, all put together with a touch of modernity!

Ride the Waves at Sentosa

Wave House Sentosa is the place to experience the Californian beach lifestyle with high-adrenaline flow boarding on the world-famous double flowrider and 10-foot flowbarrel wave rides. Chill out to the best music as you taste modern Californian and Asian cuisine at the Wave House Sentosa Restaurant & Bar or cool off from the tropical heat and mingle with some of the most attractive people on the island at the outdoor Barrel and Rider Beach Bars.

Orchand Road

Indulge in some of the most amazing shopping stroll you’ll ever have at Orchand Road, a mix between Bond Street and Oxford Circus! After your spree we bet you’ll need a rest, and to charge your batteries with some amazing food, so head over to the Fat Cow, a Japanese-inspired meat atelier where the promise of a bespoke dining experience is carried through its luxurious meat service and vintage wine list, sakes, shochus and a signature cocktail collection. It serves a handpicked selection of the finest Wagyu from reputable farms around the world where guests can enjoy their choice of beef over a variety of Japanese preparation methods.

China Town

You can’t leave Singapore without checking out China Town’s treasures, much less without sampling the food! Firstly, Pluck, an Asian casual kitchen & bar that features an open kitchen and an open mindset to food. With familiar local and regional favourites as the base, Chef Nicholas Teo also puts his gastronomic mark on new signature dishes, taking his menu to a whole new level!

And to put a nice ending to your day, hit the Rooftop at the Screening Room. Tantalising concoctions, intoxicating beats and beautiful people, essentially, RSR is the place to be and be seen!

All this and more within the ENTERTAINER Singapore app! Don’t let us keep you, take the first step to a new way of satisfying your wanderlust!
