Top 5 Cool Bali Hangouts
Pison Coffee
Jl. Petitenget No. 19, Seminyak
But first, coffee. And if you’re a coffee connoisseur, beyond the impressive interiors and inviting outdoor balcony, you’ll love the brew here. It’s straight out of a Melbournian cafe guide book. Try the Espresso Avocado – a blend of avocado and strong coffee with ice cream on top.
Nude Canggu
Jl. Pantai Berawa, Berawa, Canggu
If a chill out lounge and a breakfast cafe had a baby, this would be it. This popular spot has great decor, cool tunes and a laid back vibe. Come here for colourful, healthy food not only for your belly but also for your Instagram feed. If you’re vegan – actually, even if you’re not – Nude Canggu’s vegan burger is a home run.
Creamery Bar
Jl. Pantai Berawa no. 8, Denpasar
This place gives a new meaning to ‘cool Bali hangouts,’ because it’s – well – literally cool. I mean – “sneakers and blueberry” ice cream? This “ice cream lab” has liquid nitrogen that allows it to create the most decadent, whimsical confections. And if you’re just not into cold treats, there are also other desserts and baked goods. Look for the giant, blue milk bottle signage atop the entrance – you can’t miss it.
Cocoon
Jalan Double Six No. 66, Blue Ocean Boulevard, Seminyak
#RelationshipGoals alert. The Insta below is of PSM Makassar Indonesia pro football clubber, Marc Kloc, and his bae. They’re in Cocoon, Seminyak’s hottest beach club. Set on 3,000 square metres of stunning beachside gardens, this place is great for kicking back with a fresh coconut (or something stronger), people watching, and all-around imbibing Bali’s unmistakable vibe.
BLU Restaurant-Bar-Lounge
Jl. Petitenget – Komp. Villa Kendal No 35, Seminyak
The crown jewel of the Golden Tulip Devins Hotel, this cool Bali hangout makes our list for its unique rooftop pool, large and inviting day-bed seating areas, and cool-to-the-eyes design. But it doesn’t stop there. Nibble on innovative tapas and sip on your favourite cocktail whilst enjoying a commanding view of the golden, Balinese sunset. What a way to end the day.
