Although we never need an excuse to get together and celebrate, the launch of ENTERTAINER 2018 is certainly a great one! Having earned a fabulous reputation for its chic, fun vibe and Chino-Latino menu – and not to mention its idyllic location on the beachfront of the Corniche – Asia de Cuba at the St. Regis provided us with the perfect spot to all get together, catch up and participate in many have to, vs want to tasks for the chance to win prizes!
What else happened at Asia de Cuba for the ENTERTAINER’s launch night?
Our guests were not only invited to participate in a Ceviche masterclass (the winners took home brunch vouchers for 2 people at Asia de Cuba), but they also had the opportunity to decorate their own cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery, with the help of their very talented staff. Our pong table also went down a treat – our lovely blogger friends and merchants had the option to drink something they wanted, or if their ball fell in the ‘have to’ cups, they had to opt for kale, carrot or beetroot juice!
But don’t think it was all fun and games – some of our guests had to work hard to reap the rewards! That’s right, we had a spinning bike from The Room tucked away neatly in the corner, and informed everyone that if we reached our 45 minute target, there would be a reward! Thanks to our willing participants, the target was smashed, and everyone got to enjoy a 3-tier gorgeous cake from Magnolia. Don’t feel too sorry for them though, as Bellacure were on hand to offer massages, manicures and hairdos afterwards too!
