Weekend Tips: Bonfire Night

The chill is here, the chill is staying, and while it might sound like a horrible warning that winter is, indeed, coming, we can’t help but embrace it! Why, well, because what would Bonfire Night be without some suitable Autumn weather? A barbecue in the park, that’s what. Definitely not what we need to get some closure before we get ready for the Christmas season.

Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes Day, is a celebration of the failure of the Gunpowder Plot, and what better way to celebrate that the Parliament didn’t explode than lighting up a load of fireworks after a bit of hog roast in the park? Honestly, it’s great! As long as you check you pyre for hedgehogs before you lit it, of course.

So remember, remember, the 5th of November, and have a little fun spree this weekend! Let us tell you exactly where:

Eaton Square

Start with a cheeky drink at Eaton Square, a modern and sophisticated cocktail bar with an amazing selection! Also, it’s Old Fashioned week, so put some fire in your belly with this classic drink!

The Bull & The Hide

Get your share of roast and other hearty British delicacies, the Bull & The Hide needs to become your pub of choice ASAP. Breakfast and Sunday roasts deserve all the praise they get, but their burgers are to die for too!

Ben’s Canteen

If there’s a place worth visiting just for desert, that’s Ben’s. Not too long ago we introduced you all to their DIY Doughnuts, which are essentially little balls of fried heaven rolled in sugar. Served warm and with three options of custard and jam to personalise. Order them to go so you don’t miss the fireworks!

Remember you have hundreds of Buy One, Get One Free opportunities with the ENTERTAINER London app, make sure you download our 2018 version, which will unlock the 2017 product too!

Happy Guy Fawkes Day, more next weekend!
