Tempted to get naked?

Best Coworking Space | Coworking in our space-starved city has not only gone mainstream; it has finally matured  to a point where we finally have boutique options.

The ENTERTAINER is proud to be the benefits partner of naked Hub, Asia’s largest network of premium co-working spaces. But beyond buzzwords, what do ‘sustainable design’ and ‘focus on well being’ really mean?

HK’s Best Coworking Space: naked hub

G/F, 5-13 New Street, Sai Ying Pun

Can you do this in your office?

A couple of weeks ago we participated in two, consecutive media tours at naked Hub’s New Street address. Situated on a quiet street off Hollywood Road, it sits on the leafy cusp of Sai Ying Pun and Sheung Wan.

We were there to give journalists and bloggers a sample of experiences that may be enjoyed on the ENTERTAINER App, that are close to naked Hub. We created a pop-up juice bar; served delicious roast chicken, quiche, sides and mouthwatering chocolate cake from La Rotisserie; and crunchy baguettes bursting with fillings from La Sandwicherie.

Although we played only a small part in the media tour, we learned a lot, ourselves. Firstly, we realised that working and having fun need not be mutually exclusive. In fact, work’s better when it’s fun. Rachel, the ENTERTAINER HK’s Social Community Manager, and I played ping pong in between the media tours.

We also loved it that the New Street Hub is surrounded by art galleries – more so, that it has its own gallery space. When exhibitions aren’t happening, the space is also a usable yoga studio or event hall. There are modular counters that come off the walls and neatly tuck back in, depending on event requirements. They’re nifty design curios, for sure, but they’re really clever appropriation of space.

There are standard amenities of course – a living room, bar areas, breakout areas, high-speed wifi, meeting rooms – but it’s the quirky, thoughtful touches we love the most. Can you just imagine how life-changing it would be to have standing desks, a street-level outdoor terrace, upcycled furniture, bicycle chairs (!), free flowing beer (!!), and meditation sessions (ohmm) in your workplace?

With such a tempting suite of features, we weren’t able to resist. We, ourselves, have become Hubbers. We got naked. LOL.

Soon to be home to 400 people, the 4-story New Street Hub is both spacious and light filled, offering up hot desks, open offices and private offices.  Save more on meeting room packages in naked Hub with offers on your ENTERTAINER App.
