World Water Day is a reminder on the importance if preserving our water resources, and with cases like Cape Town and their Zero Water deadline, the water crisis is more evident than ever. The motto for World Water Day 2018 is ‘Nature for Water’, and the mission is to explore nature-based solutions to help us with this problem that affects more than 2.1 billlion people.
Grim as it looks, we humans have an enormous potential to change this! Every day is a new opportunity for improvement, for putting others before us, and to give more. All Britons are being encouraged to bring re-usable tumblers to coffee houses, and filtered water taps are appearing in more and more venues so that the consumption of bottled water goes down significantly by the year 2022!
