Our Opinion: The Lagoon is aptly named with stunning views of the glittering Arabian Gulf but that’s not the only impressive thing about this restaurant. The buffet is vast and the Friday Brunch is especially popular with locals and expats alike.
Top Tip: Save room for all the delicious food stations as we’re sure you’ll have eyes bigger than your belly. Worth it though!

Our Opinion: Big portions, drinks served in mason jars (which we are total suckers for) and funky American decor. We literally couldn’t ask for anything else. This is our kind of place. Come for the food and stay for the drinks, this place is so relaxed and perfect for date night, a party, a group brunch or any old excuse you can think of to visit!
Top Tip: Line your stomach with the delicious all-American food and then prop yourself up at the bar for a fun night browsing the cocktails and eclectic shots.

Our Opinion: Mexican food! We adore a good taco and we can’t say no to churros so this was a natural choice for us. It is very kids friendly and all the food is to die for, to be honest. Guacamole, in our opinion, is life and you will certainly get enough of it here!
Top Tip: Try the ceviche. It’s life-changing.
Cioccolat Italiani – Mall of Qatar

Our Opinion: It goes without saying, this is a haven for people with a sweeter than average tooth. Chocolate is the game here and we honestly couldn’t tell you which our favourite menu item is because they are all just too scrumptious to pick! It’s a great place to take kids for a treat as well as yourself because chocolate is always a good idea in our books.
Top Tip: They don’t just serve coffee and everything drizzled in chocolate. Take a look at the menu and order one of their savoury offerings as they are just as good as the sweets.
Torino Steakhouse – Tawar Mall

Our Opinion: Who doesn’t love a good steak, right? There is nothing more to say other than, if you love beef and all the trimmings then head on over because you will be in heaven with the meat choices!
Top Tip: Go wild and order a different cut of meat. Then be brave and ask the chef to cook it how he recommends. If you aren’t feeling that though, we suggest the onion rings. So delicious!
Golden Dragon – Multiple Locations Across Qatar

Our Opinion: Sometimes a nice, cheeky Chinese meal is all you need. It’s filling, naughty and very satisfying and the Golden Dragon is a popular choice across Qatar. We love heading to our nearest outlet and filling up on our favourite Chinese dishes and we think you should too.
Top Tip: Get it to take away and enjoy it at home with your feet up!
