Bask in the heat at these Manchester restaurants

The colourful city of Manchester is home to some of the top restaurants in the UK. But as the summer months approach and we try our best to make the most of the sun, hunting down restaurants with adequate outdoor seating can turn into a bit of a chore.

To give you a helping hand with your Manchester al fresco dining, we’ve put together a list of four of the best restaurants to eat outdoors in. All of which offer up a sun-soaked terrace for you to unwind on as you eat.

IMPOSSIBLE

The large city centre outdoor seating area is one of the main selling points for this restaurant and bar. What really sets Impossible apart from the competition, however, is the extensive options for entertainment there from a theatre to a gin nest. We’re not certain what a gin nest is per se… but we want to go there.  The food is well decent too.

THE LIVING ROOM

If you’re looking for an outdoor bite that’ll deliver posh presentation, The Living Room is the place for you. You’ll find them on Deansgate where they’ve been doing it right for nearly 20 years. They have everything from brunch to afternoon tea, but we recommend giving Limitless Friday’s a go. The terrace is on the itty bitty side, so call ahead to make sure they can get you a spot in the sun. Also, can we just talk about this drink tree!? Amazing.

ALBATROSS & ARNOLD

Ok, before you say it… yes, *technically* they don’t have a terrace but they DO have floor to ceiling windows that open to the outdoors when the weather is nice and some people like that better than being totally outside. Plus, their food is yummy, so we couldn’t leave them off. Get the pork belly with miso caramel, burnt apple and pear or whatever this fab king crab situation is and you’ll see what we mean:
