Liverpool’s Tastiest Treats: Outdoor Eating

Liverpool – the former European Capital of Culture – is a city filled to the brim with fabulous restaurants and unique foodie experiences. In this list, we’ve rounded up a few of the best places to chow down when you want to take your food outside and enjoy the weather.

Who doesn’t love soaking up the sun with a few brews and something tasty?

This beautiful Italian restaurant is situated in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool. It has a gorgeous outdoor seating area where you can put away a few pints, try some tasty meals, make the most of the heat, and enjoy the world passing you by.

Dishes include a wide range of pastas, pizzas, and sides. We recommend the Quattro Formaggi pizza with some sweet potato fries. If you’re in the mood to try something fun, why not take on the mighty Calzone Challenge? If you can finish this 5 lb beast of a calzone, you get it for free – and can even nab yourself a sweet t-shirt.

Visitors to Liverpool should check out the historic, Castle St Townhouse for al fresco dining in the hustle and bustle of it all. Bite into their Chicken Supreme, a classic dish remixed with sweet potato for a hearty tummy-filler.

Or you could go for their Pan-fried Salmon with watermelon & radish salad for a healthy option that won’t damage that beach bod. Absolutely delish!

Located right next to Castle St Townhouse, this is ideal for those looking for classic italian. Their food comes in generous portions and they have plenty of vegetarian & gluten free options too. We recommend the Wild Mushroom Risotto for you GF & Veggie diners or the Pollo Funghi for meat eaters (made with truffle mayo, yum!)

They’ve also got a pretty affordable kiddies menu with the option to make your own pizza which the little ones are sure to enjoy. (Or you could just pop by for a tasty cocktail or two, we won’t judge.)

If you’re visiting Liverpool anytime soon, make sure you download The ENTERTAINER app to your phone. You’ll find a wide selection of amazing deals for all of these restaurants and more!
