Feeling Hungary? Visit Gay Hussar!

Serving national specialities and the finest Hungarian wines over the last fifty years, this Soho-based Hungarian restaurant, Gay Hussar, has preserved basically the same traditional menu as when it first opened!

The unique decor, extravagant menu and intimate dining environment have all helped to draw in some of the UK’s leading political figures, journalists, and artists. Welcoming customers who are very involved in politics and journalism, Martin Ronson took it upon himself to draw more than 60 caricatures of the most famous faces that have visited the Gay Hussar – and it makes the place even cooler!

The ideal destination for those wanting to experience a capsule of London’s history, accompanied by delicious hearty dishes and impeccable service, this eatery is not one to be missed. Just how special is this place? Well, Manager John Wroble has worked there since 1988, so that just shows how amazing Gay Hussar is!

Pop in and use your ENTERTAINER for both a Main Course and a glass (or two) of House Wine. After sampling the Smoked Mackerel Summer Salad, and Duck Confit with Apple Puree and Paprika Potatoes, we know we’re going to be back for more very soon! Especially when their staple dishes include Cold Cherry Soup, and Goulash – we can’t wait to try the different delicacies!
