Cali-Mex Bar & Grill (Sai Ying Pun)
Taco lovers will definitely be familiar with this American-style chain, whose taquerias mushroomed all over the city in the span of months. Cali-Mex has since launched a sister brand of Bar & Grills, which feature an extended menu for the more discerning diner. Think Baked Canadian Lobster, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, and Grilled USDA Flank Steak. But they’ve got tacos and enchiladas, too, if that’s more your style. Trust us when we say the portions here are huge – perfect for big groups!

Fofo
Spanish restaurants are a dime a dozen in Hong Kong, but there are few institutions like Fofo by El Willy. This restaurant is eight years old this year. And its staying power is most likely due to its absolutely delicious food. The “explosive smoked salmon air bag” (montadito de salmon ahumado) is a must order at Fofo, despite the unusual name. They also do an amazing suckling pig! After you’re stuffed to the brim with Spanish food, head up to their fabulous rooftop bar to have a couple of cocktails and dance the night away.
