This is certainly one for the chicken lovers! South American restaurant, Absurd Bird, is located in both Soho and Spitalfields, and serves the best southern fried chicken!

Their star dish, Chicken ‘n’ Waffles, is to die for (and yes, we know from first hand experience). It’s the perfect combination of crunchy fried chicken, seasoning and fluffy waffles, and then it’s soaked in maple syrup – YUM!
As the lovely Antonio said in the video, you can head down on a Thursday night to tuck in while listening to some live music, including soul classics and jazz. If you’d also like to liven things up with a cocktail or two, make sure that ‘Hen Night’ is on your list – the cocktail in the video consists of mango vodka, passion fruit, mango syrup and fresh cream, and is reminiscent of a Solero ice cream in a glass!
