5 New December Offers You Have To Try In Joburg

‘Tis the season to be eating, falalalala la la la la. I know you’re already planning all the things that you’re going to be doing over the holidays, but I bet you didn’t think about where you’d be eating. Well we’re here to save the day with a list of brand new December offers (and January offers if you decided to be an Early Bird) on the ENTERTAINER that you have to try.

You’ll want to start planning your culinary journey through Gauteng, so grab a pen and some paper before you read about our new December offers. Ready? Here we go:

1. Billy The Bums, Fourways

Let’s get this December party started with a drink at Billy’s. Choose from a Buy One Get One Free classic or original cocktail as soon as the clock strikes ‘holiday’. They even have something called Call Me A Cab, so it’ll remind you to drink responsibly. How convenient is that? ?

2. Hudsons, Bedfordview

I am beyond excited for this one. The first time I experienced a Hudsons burger was in Cape Town, and I was instantly hooked. This is one of those places that every burger connoisseur or enthusiast should visit. Not only are their burgers delicious, but the names are pretty comical too. They have everything from The Suit (for the sophisticated, I guess?) to The Shroom (hehe). I must also recommend the Bacon Jam burger. It sounds like a weird combo, but you’ll never look back. BRB, quickly driving to Hudsons.

3. The Baron, Sandton

Ways to my boyfriend’s heart:

  1. Make him food
  2. Buy him food
  3. Be food

And since I can’t exactly be food (and I really can’t cook) I’ll take him to The Baron for a perfectly cooked steak instead.

4. Saravana Bhava, Rivonia

To the vegetarians, don’t worry, we’ve got a few December offers for you too. We know that being vegetarian can be a bit tricky sometimes. So we’re always on the lookout for meat-free restaurants. Saravana Bhava happens to be 100% vegetarian-friendly Indian cuisine. So on those cold and rainy days, you can load up with warm an delectable Masala or Khorma, to name a few.

5. Eish Kream, multiple locations

They started in Durban, but the craving is quickly spreading throughout SA. Now, we’re lucky enough to say that Eish Kream is finally in Gauteng. You can find this cold-press spaghetti ice cream in Johannesburg, Centurion, and Pretoria! This weird and wonderful treat is the cherry on top of a delightful day of food. When you’ve ticked this off your list, check out these sweet ice cream spots across SA.

Okay, I’m seriously hungry after staring at photos of the food at all of these places. I’m ready to eat my way through the holidays using all of these December offers.

I’d love to hear which offer excites you the most, and where you’ll be eating out in the next few weeks? Let me know in the comments below!
