Meet The Editors Of The ENTERTAINER Hub

About Hanan, the Editor of the ENTERTAINER Hub

In between spending my time as the Social Community Manager at the ENTERTAINER, I love getting a good sweat out of my dance and yoga sessions. Other spare times are dedicated to finding the next best milkshake around and also checking out the local art & music scene.

For a girl who grew up in the middle of a hustling and bustling city, my nature is built for a slower pace lifestyle. Sounds like an oxymoron, I know. Thankfully, traveling to an eden or a short retreat is no hassle for KL-ites.

My parents taught me the value of traveling and what we should take away in our experiences. It’s always good to learn a bit of the language, get to know the people, and immerse yourselves in their history & culture. From trekking the jungles to the caves of Mulu, Sarawak, to discovering the wonders of Agra in India, our family vacations are never short of being adventurous and insightful.

Fun fact: When I travel to different parts of the world, I’ve always been mistaken to be a local of that country. Funny, but it’s cool to be a citizen of the world!

Roller coasters are my thing. The thrill is something that gets me on a high! I do have a profound love of theme parks in general, and I secretly (or not) wish to go back to Universal Studios Florida one day with my soulmate and bask in the wonders of the Harry Potter World once more…

And desserts! There’s always room for desserts. Always.

About Michelle, the Editor of the ENTERTAINER Hub

Called Mich, Mish, Shell, Mitchel or Michelle Amanda – I am the Marketing Executive at the ENTERTAINER Malaysia. And I really, really love my parents despite them giving me two first names ?

Through my experiences in advertising agencies after graduating from a Degree in Communications and Media Studies, I have acquired a deep-seated interest in understanding customer needs to provide the best experiences and fostering good relationship through kick-ass engagement activities. Despite that, I needed to do what I love and love what I do. Thus, I found my way into the ENTERTAINER because now my job allows me to dip my toes into all my favourite lifestyle aspects! Okay, enough of the nerd talk.

Born in the 90s, my passion includes hiking, trekking, family time and indulging myself in sun-soaked travels and being Malaysian – stuffing my face with glorious food! I just conquered Annapurna Base Camp on a dreamlike 10 day hike and the restlessness has got me planning the next one (what do you guys think about Everest Base Camp?) Oh and did I mention that I love being wrapped in 6 yards of cloth? Aka also known as a saree ?

Honestly, I’m the type of person who wants to do, feel and see it all. At the same time, I’ve learned that it’s important to rewind and align with myself, health and spirituality as it is to make the most out of life. You’ll find me enjoying some downtime with a book in hand in a café, going on weekend hikes or kidnapping my bffs on a random road trip. I try to hold true to this mantra, “happiness is an inside job, don’t assign it to anyone else!”
