Travel Special: Make Malta Your Next Destination

Looking for good gastronomy, wine, crystalline waters and 300 days of sunshine a year, then look no further and make Malta your next stop!

We’ve laid out some fun recs for you to make sure you don’t miss anything. Since Malta is one of the seventeen destinations in the world where you can purchase the ENTERTAINER app, we included some of our Maltese venues, with the best Buy One Get One Free Offers you can get in all three islands!

Watersports in Mellieha Bay

Before saying anything else, we need to mention that the landing at Malta airport has been deemed as the 10th most scenic in the world! So those travelling with some daylight, congratulations to you! Those travelling under slightly less lucky circumstances, don’t’ worry because there’s still so much to see! Like Mellieha Bay, where you can treat yourself to some windsurf with Hangloose Watersports!

Loosen Up in Valetta

If you fancy more laid-back plans, visit Malta’s capital city – Valletta. Valletta by night has a beautiful atmosphere full of culture and charm. Your fine dining options are endless, but we’d like to suggest The Phoenix, where Executive Chef Daniel has created a contemporary menu, still deeply rooted in the classics and his philosophy of conscious eating. Valletta offers plenty of bars and pubs, so you can go for a cheeky drink anytime you fancy.

From Sliema to Saint Julian’s

If you’ve been partying the night before, or if you just want to keep it relaxing, we propose a stroll from Sliema to Saint Julian’s. It’s a lovely 1.8 mile stretch, and if it’s hot there’s plenty of beaches along the way to cool off. Finish your day at Myoka, a delightful spa located at the Hilton hotel.

Jumping Islands: Gozo

The ferry will take you to Gozo, the second largest island in the Maltese archipelago, in 45 minutes. Places to go in Gozo would definitely be Xlendi or Marsalforn – both cities are by the beach and you can dine overlooking a panoramic view, enjoying the sea breeze.  We suggest Talija in Xlenandi, which offers an amazing Mediterranean a la carte menu. For Marsalforn head to Il Gambero,  a mouth-watering Italian and Mediterranean restaurant that bings the freshest ingredients to the table.

Mosta

End your stay with some diving in Mosta! The Two Divers will get you all geared up, and after your under the sea experience you can indulge in the freshest seafood at Pisces in Marsaxlokk, a fishing village where you can also see the Maltese traditional fishing boat, or luzzu.

An that’s only the tip of the iceberg, there is just so much to do in Malta! Moreover, you can have the ENTERTAINER Malta, which just means there more to do for less from you! Happy travelling!
