Home to some of the coolest bars and popular art galleries, DIFC is probably the only playground in Dubai where the suits and the boho chic come together to play.
So, I was excited when I got the opportunity to visit the newest cool kid on the block, Bazxar, for their Friday Prohibition Brunch.
My first thoughts? This is interesting. Very low key and casual on the one hand, with Urban furnishings and a New York-inspired graffiti adorned wall and very uptown and classy on the other with a sleek bar and chic dining area.
Onto the Brunch then. The brunch begins with nine entrées with portions easily big enough to share. I was a little worried I wouldn’t have space for the main but somehow I managed.
Check out some of my favourites:
The deep-fried, crispy mac ’n’ cheese balls.
Lentil salad with pickled vegetables.
My absolute favourite though would have to be the slow-cooked short rib main.
And of course, no brunch is complete without something from the bar!
