If you’re not lucky enough to be heading to Rio for this year’s Olympics then fear not, there are a whole host of places around Dubai that are showcasing the games so there’s no need to miss out! Here’s my pick of the best places to see all of the live action!
Claw BBQ
With a delicious menu full of showstoppers such as their lip smacking BBQ grilled meat, speciality steaks, legendary seafood buckets and an impressive drinks menu, Claw is a great spot to watch the Olympics. Especially as you won’t miss a minute with their 15 TV screens dotted around the restaurant!
Barasti
Head to one of Dubai’s most famous beach bars Barasti where you can watch the games from several massive TV screens, all within the comfort of their air-conditioned tent. A brilliant social place to watch the Olympics and chat with fellow sports fans.
Garden On 8
If you want to watch the Olympic games in the fresh air then head to garden on 8 at Media One Hotel and enjoy their air-conditioned terrace. A simple, quirky and fun restaurant high above the city serving wholesome, healthy food and classic drinks. A great fun retreat to socialise with your friends after a hard day at work.
Atelier M
Atelier M in Pier 7 will be showing the games on several multi screens in their Art-Deco Lounge, meaning whether you’re eating or just having a drink you’ll be kept up to date with all the action.
Q sports Bar
Located on the ground floor of the Holiday Inn, Q Sports Bar provides 9 massive cinema screens revolving around the main circular shaped bar that takes centre stage on the premises, meaning you won’t have to fight anyone for those front row seats.
Kickers
Seeing as Kickers is surrounded by state of the art sports facilities it seems a brilliant location to watch the Rio 2016 Olympic games! Enjoy their famous bar snacks such as their crispy spring rolls, classic hot dogs and juicy burgers. A great place to unwind and relax within Dubai Sports City.
Brunswick Sports Bar
Even though they might not be in the ENTERTAINER, Brunswick Sports Bar had to make it onto this list. One of the newest sports bars on the block, Brunswick Sports Bar, ran by the duo behind Tom & Serg, bring you a mashup between an industrial Brooklyn gym and your rustic local neighbourhood bar. The perfect place to get your friends together, chill with a bevvie and enjoy the tastiest burgers around whilst watching the games.
