Tucked away down a little street in the heart of Covent Garden, the legendary Cafe Pacifico has been transporting people to authentic Mexico since it opened its doors in 1982. With simplistic, rustic, cosy decor and some of the best Mexican food and drinks around, this is a great place for a fun night spent with your favourite people. And luckily for us, Cafe Pacifico shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
If there’s one thing we love about Mexico (other than the food of course) it’s for introducing us to the delicacy that is Tequila. Now you may think the word delicacy was the wrong choice of word to use there. After all most of us are used to downing a shot or two late into our weekend shenanigans. But apparently, we’ve been doing it all wrong. Tequila is supposed to be savoured and, wait for it, sipped! Who knew.
Luckily Cafe Pacifico’s ever so passionate bartender Tony decided to give us a tasting session so that we could truly learn to savour Tequila.
Remember, don’t down your Tequila in shots, Tequila is meant to be enjoyed whilst you enjoy a bite to eat, so make sure to sip it and taste it properly! Luckily, Café Pacifico has a menu full of homemade finger food (the delicious tortillas are made in-house) and you could even add a jar of Margarita to make the whole experience even sweeter! Plus you can enjoy 2 for 1 offers on a main meal and cocktail with your ENTERTAINER.
