Outdoor Activities in Oman

Beaches, pools, tours, watersports….these are all fantastic things to add to your to-do list in Oman but when it’s 40+ degrees outside, some of these outdoor activities that require you to head out, lose their charm somewhat. This is why, when temperatures finally drop in Oman, we are impatient to get out there and make the most of the glorious sunshine that won’t burn us to a crisp.

We can’t wait to get out on the ocean, floppy hat and sunnies at the ready, or stroll along the beach and grab an ice cream before throwing on a jumper (we know, it sounds ridiculous in the Gulf but we can’t wait to get some use out of woolly wear) and admire whichever view takes our fancy that evening, as we can actually sit out on balconies again!

Here are some things you’ll find us crossing off our list this winter –

Blue Wave Oman: Half Day Dimaniyat Trip

Estimated Savings: OMR25
Location: Millenium Resort Mussanah

Discover life under the sea with a half-day Dimaniyat trip out on the crystal clear waters of Oman. Take some time out and chill with the fish and coral for a relaxing, beautiful day.

Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah: Pool Pass

Estimated Savings: OMR10
Location: Crowne Plaza Salalah

Grab your sunglasses and a good book because it’s time to put your feet up and spend a well deserved day lazing by the pool with a mocktail in hand. Nothing sounds more appealing to us that doing just that. Let’s go!

Husaak Adventures: 4Hr Kayak Rental

Estimated Savings: OMR23

Go on an aqua adventure and give yourself a workout at the same time with an awesome kayak trip. Take in the stunning views, let the calm of the water bob around you and have an amazing time while doing it. What could be better?
