As far as pottery workshops go, this one’s surprisingly large, airy and clean. The teachers are friendly, patient and give detailed instructions. Expect to try your hand at creating something useful, like a bowl, cup or plate. Your creation will even be glazed for you, ensuring you have a beautiful memento of your visit. Aprons are provided. City Hunter
It’s all about non-violence here. City Hunter is a 10,000 square foot war game centre across two exciting zones. Suitable for players who are six years old and above, this venue is fast becoming the hangout du jour in the city for gathering and partying with family and friends.
Ball Room
If you haven’t yet heard of, or experienced, “pool soccer” or “curling” – you’re in for a treat. Ball Room’s three outlets in Kwun Tong and Lai Chi Kok aren’t only spots for innovative sports but are entire leisure complexes where you and your family and friends can hang out all-day. Azzita
Get ready for lots of fun and laughter as you try to get both your feet onto the self-balancing scooters. You’ll first be equipped with appropriate safety gear, after which the experienced instructors provide a 10 minute tutorial on how to use the hoverboards. Sessions are either 30 minutes or 1 hour long. The 5,000 square foot venue’s platform serves only 14 hoverboarders at a time, so best to call ahead and book using the “Call” icon on Azzita’s page, on the ENTERTAINER App.
Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park
This isn’t just a whole bunch of bouncing around, although there’s nothing wrong with that, either. We had a ball looking at snaps on Instagram showing the Ryze’s kid-friendly foam pit, plus silk ropes, trapeze and monkey bars for more advanced players. Throw yourself into the trampoline grid or put your arm and leg strength to the test in the ninja course at this next-level trampoline park.
