How many times have you been somewhere only to realise later on that it was, in fact, in the ENTERTAINER? Annoying isn’t it! The ENTERTAINER has soooo many different 2 for 1 offers (we’ve practically taken over Dubai!) but sometimes you find one that takes you by surprise. Here’s a few that have caught my eye recently that I thought you should know about! You can thank me later.
Banan Nursery
With lots of parents working full time it can be a major headache when the school holidays come around. Suddenly you’re stuck with a bored child on your hands whilst you still have a list of work chores which need to be completed. So, that’s when you give the lovely people at Banan Nursey a ring who will come to the rescue with a one-week spring pass or a one or two-week summer camp pass!
Bab Al Shams
Ok, people. This one I’m really excited about. Pool access to one of the most beautiful hotels in Dubai, Bab Al Shams. Admittedly a little trek from central Dubai but this is precisely what makes it all the more exciting. As you take a dip in the stunning infinity pool and look out onto the rolling sand dunes you’ll feel like you’re on a mini holiday. Can we go now? I’ll race you there!
Cycle Hub
Always fancied having a go at the Al Qudra Bike Track but haven’t got a bike? Well, you can stop using that same old excuse and get off that bum of yours because the Cycle Hub will kit you out with a bike perfect for completing the 50-kilometre track. You could even reward yourself afterwards with a healthy paleo lunch at the Cycle Bistro.
Emirates Kart Zone
Ever since I played Super Mario Kart as a little (and big!) kid, I’ve wanted to get on my own little podium and win the trophy for best driver. That’s where Emirates Kart Zone comes in. An adrenaline fuelled Formula 1 style circuit where you can accelerate like a slingshot around the race track leaving your competitors in your dust!
The Palm Monorail
When you have your friends fly over to Dubai for a holiday they always ask one question ”Can we explore The Palm please”. And as much as you want to be a good tour guide the idea of getting stuck in The Palm traffic can be more than a little off-putting. So, how about jumping on The Palm Monorail and letting them see it all? Then hop off and explore the famous Atlantis Hotel… Because we all know they’re going to ask to see it!
Club Stretch
What’s your New Year’s resolution this year? Is it to eat less and move more? Well, how about looking after yourself with a bit of stretching and a whole lot of zen all at one time. Visit Club Stretch where their lovely instructors (and they really are lovely, I can vouch for them) will teach you everything you need to know about yoga. You’ll soon know the difference between downward dog and cobra before you know it.
Tong Thai
If you want to take someone on a date to remember or want a special night out with the girls then look no further than Tong Thai. Located in the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel the ambience and decor of Tong Thai will truly take your breath away. As will the delicious food! This is one of my all time favourites in Dubai and always one I pick for a special occasion.
