November 10 – December 2: Les Misérables
The world’s most popular musical Les Misérables is coming to Dubai for the very first time. This much-loved musical which has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide will be showcased at the fabulous Dubai Opera. November 25-27: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix needs no introduction. The 2016 Formula 1 World Championship will be hosting the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi at Yas Marina Circuit. Taking place on the 25th, 26th and 27th of November you can not only enjoy the races but also performances from The Chemical Brothers, Lionel Ritchie and Rhianna. This is definitely a bucket list event and one not to miss. December 1-3: Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens

December 8-10: Dubai Winter Festival Media City
Now in its 5th year, the Dubai Winter Festival is one of the largest and enjoyable Christmas events in Dubai. With plenty of seasonal features, you and your little ones can visit Santa’s Grotto, watch the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and check out the festive Pantomime. A whole day out for all to enjoy!
December 9-10: du Tough Mudder
Christmas means lots of warm mince pies, roast dinners, and never-ending leftovers which miraculously jump into your mouth when you open the fridge. So, how about getting a little exercise before hand? Ok, so I’m lying when I say ‘little’. Tough Mudder is known for being one of the most gruelling fitness events on the planet. Having said that it’s also one of the most fun! Get yourselves down to the Hamdan Sports Complex where you’ll climb, jump, run, and swing your way through an obstacle course designed to test your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit.
December 15: Elton John
If you’re looking for the perfect Christmas present then how about a ticket to see Elton John at the Autism Rocks Arena? The living legend is here on the 15th of December for his first ever live show in Dubai. With world-renowned hits such as, ‘Candle in the Wind’ and ‘Your Song’ he’s one of the most accomplished live musicians in the world. I have a feeling this is going to sell out fast, so hurry and book your ticket!
December 17-27: Souk Festive Market
Things don’t get any more Christmassy than the festive market at Madinat Jumeirah. A firm favourite among Dubai’s residents, Souk Festival promises to be better than ever. Wander around the stall and buy lots of Christmas trinkets which make for perfect stocking fillers, as well as enjoying Christmas delights such as roasted chestnuts and mince pies. I’m seriously excited about this one!
Every Wednesday: The Ripe Market
The Ripe Market is back! Every Wednesday from 2pm – 9pm head along to the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi where you can buy seasonal organic fruits and veggies, freshly baked bread and cakes, tuck into delights from food trucks, and also wander through stalls filled with arts, crafts, jewellery, and live music.
